Come play with us!
Back by popular demand, SMMS is once again offering four 1-week Summer Camp sessions for children between the ages of 3 - 8!
Making new friends, engaging in special craft and science projects, and spending plenty of time outside playing is what we're all about!
Three days a week (Tuesdays - Thursdays)
9 am - 12:30 pm
$100 per week per child paid by June 1st
How many children are enrolled each at week at SMMS Summer Camp?
The maximum number of children who can enroll each week is 20. Children will be in a single mixed-age cohort with a teacher and an assistant. Last year, we typically had 17 - 18 children enrolled each week.
Can we bring snack and lunch?
Yes! Children should bring a lunch and snack from home each day along with a filled water bottle. Our school is a nut-free environment.
What if my child is new to your preschool?
If your child will be attending SMMS for the first time this summer, feel free to join us at 8:45am on the Tuesday of the week they are starting for a short meet and greet at the playground. At 8:55, we will invite grown-ups to say their short and sweet good-byes and exit the playground area. This makes space for other children to independently enter the playground at 9am for the start of the day.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you withdraw your child with more than 2 weeks before their registered week of camp, we will fully refund the cost of those weeks missed. If you cancel with less than 2 weeks before their registered week of camp, we will refund 50% of the cost of weeks missed.
Is your Summer Camp religious and/or based on the Montessori philosophy?
No, SMMS Summer Camp does not have a religious focus or any religious curriculum. During summer camp, we put away the Montessori materials for a relaxed summer experience, but our values remain the same: we are a community informed by the principles of peace, respect and grace for all. At SMMS Summer Camp we fill our days by engaging in special craft and science projects, and we will spend much of our time outside, doing fun projects and playing!
