Covid-19 Health and Safety Procedures

ENSURING THE SAFETY OF OUR COMMUNITY

Our precautions during uncertain times

Sunnyside Mennonite Montessori School follows the “Health and Safety Guidelines for Childcare and Early Education Operating During COVID-19” by the Oregon Department of Education, Early Learning Division. We have taken great care to ensure the safety of our families and to also nurture the physical, social and emotional well-being of our students.

 Our Health and Safety Protocols:
  • All adults working in the classroom are fully vaccinated.
  • All families are required to fill out a Health Check online before 8:30 am.
  • Families have the option of choosing to mask. If you would like your child wear a mask indoors, our lead teacher, Denée, will work with your child to honor your preference.
  • There is lots of hand washing and plenty of hand sanitizer available.
  • Two powerful air purifiers are running at school: one in the main classroom space and one in the bathroom space.
  • The teachers have a consistent routine of sanitizing classroom materials. Bathrooms are sanitized regularly.
